Mrs. Alan Bnln has relumed to her home in Cloverdale from the 'Putnam county hospital. Mrs. H. C. Christy, Oreencastle Route 3, was admitted to the county hospital for treatment Tuesday. Mrs. Elmer Skinner, Greencastl ■ Route 3, was admitted to the county hospital for treatment Tuesday. Mrs. Arthur Myles, of Cloverdale, was admitted to the Putnam county hospital Wednesday for treatment. Mrs. Thomas White, Oreencastle Route 3, underwent an operation at the Putnam county hospital Wednes-

Mrs. Alton Hurst, of Oreencastle Route 2, underwent a tonsil opera lion at the county hospital Wednesday morning. C. F. Matties, cast Washington street, was admitted to the Putnam county hospital this morning for X-ray and further observation, Mrs. William McGaughey and baby have returned to their home in Detroit after a short visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Durham. Miss Anna M. Dimmtck and Miss Mary Agnes Oriffin of Cleveland, O., ire spending a few days with the former’s sister, Miss Mildred Dimmlck. There will be a square dance Thursday evening at the old gymnasium under the auspices of the recreation committee. Everyone is r >rdially invited to attend. Lieut. Charles E. RECTOR HALL CHORUS AT H. S. CONVOCATION The Rector Hall Chorus of DePe.uw university presented an interesting program of songs >fore an enthusisatic audience of students at the local high school convocation Tues.lay morning. The group was introduced by Gene Pennington. Under the able direction of Elizabeth Smith, the girls sang "The Desert Song," ''Italian Street Song," with Peggy Black, soloist; "Lindy Ix)u," Frances Lutes soloist; and Stardust. I,n the last selection, "Dark Eyes." the chorus was accompanied by Dorothy Kline, accordion, and Kathleen Corbin, violin, with Elizabeth Smith, as soloist.
