Motorists who seek away over roads of west Putnam county, with Brazil as their destination, are having difficulties, if they are unfamiliar with those roa.ls. The closing of the National road for improvement has caused Uie erection of barricades at the intersection of the National and state road 43, south of Green-

castle, stopping through traffic west from that point, and sending north over 43, over a detour which includes road 36 to Rockville auu road 41 south into Terre Haute, but many drivers and their passengero have business in Brazil and the state provides no detour over Putnam county roads. TH[ DAILY BLACKOUT IN YOUR HOME!

w J

Let I. E. S. Lamps Bring Eye-Saving Light to Every Corner of Every Room Night falls, darkness comes . . . and there is nothing we can do about it. But inside the home we can put a stop to the daily blackout and bring cheering, healthful light to every corner of every room. Saving money on lights is really the costliest and most dangerous economy of all. I he person who believes that one light, with a small bulb, is enough for any room, doesn't realize that he is needlessly straining the. eyesight of his loved ones that may cost a lifetime of headaches, fatigue, dullness . . . and many dollars in medical bills. Let I. E. S- Better Sight Lamps do the job for you. Don’t let yours be a one-bulb room and one-room house, but bring the fullest benefit of our better lighting experience to every corner of every room. NORTHERN INDIANA POWER COMPANY
