GARY, Ind , March 27 (UP) — (Police assertioas that they will keep streets open i the plants today threatened plai j of the Steel Workers’ Organizing Committee (CIO) to “dues piiket” the mammoth Gary sheet and tin mills of Camegie-IUi-nois Steel. The union planned to stop woikers to see if they had paid union dues from 10 p m. tonight until 4 p. m. tomorrow. Frank Grider, SWOC sub-district director, told the company the union would picket on company ground and added that any interference would meet with stoppage of work for 24 hours while dues collection was carried out inside the plants.

THREE INJURED IN TRUCK-TRAIN WRECK
TBRRK HAUTE, Ind., March 27 (UP) Th ee persons were injuref and three houses were damaged b( blazing gasoline today when a Pennsylvania train struck a gasolinr tiuck at a crossing near here. Injured were Engineer Bert Taylor, FLeman Cletus K nts, both uj Terra Haute, and Harold Pauley, 22, of Pana. 111., driver of the truck. The truck was carried 100 yards along the track by the force of the impact, sp ending blazing gasoline with a radius of several hundred yards.
