Alumni members “in urbe" of the Sigma Chi fraternity including Judge Marshall D. Abrams, were guests Sunday of the fraternity at the initiation of a dass of new members, at the frat house. There were 36 out-of-town alumni members, also present. Honor was given Dr, O. F. Overstreet, of Greencastle, and Fred Likely, of Indianapolis, who have been mem tiers of the organization many years. The former graduated in the class of ’90 and the latter in that of ’01. Mr. Likely’s grandson, an undergraduate now, was among the initiates. Mrs. Stoner has been employed by the Goodie Shop for the past several months. Mr. Stoner is a valued employe of the Triangle Blue Phint company in Jackson, where the young couple will make their home, after a wedding trip to Hattiesburg.
