In a contest which was held at the Now Prevalence Sunday school the oys and men were the winning contestants. They were entertained ith a “Hard Luck Party” by the iris and women, who were the losing contestants. Dr. George A. McCoy was in Indinnapolis today attending the funeral services for Dr. Lawrence H. Gilman, widely-known physician and medical scholar, which were held from the ! Planner * Buchanan mortuary. Dr. Gilman was known in this city for hi* outstanding work and was introduced to the Putnam County Medical Society In 1939 when he was a guest speaker here for that group. Dr. Gilman was a personal friend of Dr. McCoy.
