Advance reports call “The Lady in (Question,” the answer to vliat's new •it exciting romance, a brunette bombshell in a gay, giddy, carefree and completely different kind of love story. Brian Aheme and Rita Hayworth are co-starred in the film, which opens Wednesday ind Thursday at the Voncastle Theatre. The | leatured supporting cast includes I Glenn Ford, Irene Rich, George Coullouris and Evelyn Keye* Charles ! Vidor, director of “My Son My Son.’’ I also directed the new Columbia comj cdy romance. | "The Lady in Question" tells of a lively young woman, accus I of mur- < der, who wins the sympathies of a ' middle-aged juror, so that he persuades his fellows to acquit her. Later, in kindly benefaction, he installs h?r in his bicycle shop and introduces her into his home. The man's wif“ jealously assumes the worst; the man’s son fr lls in love with the giil; the man’s daughter discovers her own "hoy friend” enamored of “The Lady in Question," ,nd, to add further complications, J the shopkeeper is forced to hide the 1 girl and her identity at various times. I 10 put matters mildly, “The Lady in Question” is quite a problem.

Lee Tracy, whose ver itility lias won him a following among devotees of both comedy and drama, lias a role I in “Millionaires in Prison” that | promises to be the most colorful in 1 his varied career at th Chateau j Theatre Wednesday and Thursday. “What kind of a guy is he?" you I will ask yourself. “Is he the hero of this story ' Or i he a 1 P 11 'you get your first low-down on him from his fellow-prisonei s who call him a “right guy" and who take Tracy’s word as their law. But when Tracy enters the story he is seen cut.ing himself in for a share of the .ake on a stock swindling dt al being promoted by two of th< lllionaire prisoners among the convicts. The uncertainty about the true colors of this character add to the fascination of this unusual comedy drama. The role affords Tracy a rich opportunity to exerci ' his elastic dramatic talents as well as his ability as a comedian. Sharing acting honors with Lee Tracy are such capable performers as Linda Hayes, Raymond Walburn, Morgan Conway, Truman Bradley, Virginia Vale and Cliff Edwards. Clyde Randel was a business visitor here from Terre Haute Tuesday
afternoon.
