Two contests were given and won by Mrs. Elsie Reeves and Mrs. Lula Pritchard. After the business hour dainty refreshments were served by the hostess and her assistant Mrs. Stltes. Double Wedding Ceremony Performed Saturday Evening A double wedding ceremony was performed Saturday evening at the Christian church parsonage by Rev. Cecil Fellers when Miss Ursula Orr of Greencastle became the bride of Clyde Poff of Groveland and Miss Elizabeth Poff of Groveland became 'he bride of Earl Toney, Jr., of Bainbridge. Elizabeth Poff and Clyde Poff are brother and sister. Twenty three years ago the brother’s and sister’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Poff were united in marriage at the same place. Forty nine years ago their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Morton Wells were married at the same place. Both Mr. and Mrs. Earl Toney, Jr., and Mr and Mrs. Clyde Poff will make their home in Indianapolis.

Study Group Meetings To Begin Wednesday Evening The first of a series of five study group meetings is being held in the Secon ! Ward auditorium, 534 Anderson Street, Wednesday evening, October 2. The meeting will begin promptly at 7:30 and is under the leadership of Mrs. Evan Crawley. , The speaker for the evening will be Paul Boston. His subject will be "Education for Citizenship.” Opportunity for discussion will be given.
