CONTINUE SIGNAL, PARKING SURVEYS Studies of tiaffic s:gnal5» and parking on state highway routes in cities and towns are being continued but on a greatly reduced sr-iD due to lack of personnel for th's work. T. A. Discus, chairman of the State Highway Commission, said toiay. Surveys of this type, designed to increase motoring and pedestrian safety, were being made by the B meau of Tiaffic which was discontinued at the time the reduced budget' became effective at the beginning of the fiscal year. Most of the work being done at the present time deals with traf'ic signals on state highway routes and the regulation of parking. As a result of these studies a number of signals have been discontinued or moved to locations where they give h more effective service in the safe, convenient and orderly movement of traffic. Studies of traffic conditions on highway routes in all cities and towns will be completed as rapidly as possible. CARD OF THANKS We wish to thank our neighbors, friends, the minister Rev. Cecil Fellers and the undertaker. Mr. Rector for their kindness and assistance in the death of our beloved sister. Ma>-y Young. The Brothers and Sister.

MISS ELLIS GAVE PLEASING PRESENTATION Before a large group of townspeople and university students, Miss Marian Ellis of Greencastle presented a cutting of Moliere’s "A School for Husbands” last night in the Li*tle Theatre.
