Vnncastle Charles Laughton returns to the screen in a story of swashbuckling, adventure when the Voncastle Theatre offers his latest Paramount picture. "Jamaici Inn,” on Friday and Saturday. Robert Newton and Emlyn Williams, Laughton plays the role cf Sir Humphtiy Pengallan, in the screen adaptation of Raphne duMaurier’s novel. The story has its setting along the coast of Cornwall in England, and t-lls of the wreckers, land pirates who thrived by luring ships to the rocks and stripping them. Laughton, a debauched aristocrat, is in league with these bandits. In 5Cenea of seething excitement, the picture shows how a pair of romantic youngsters unmask Laughton and bring his gang to justice.
