Missionary Society Met Tuesday The Missionary Society of the First Christian Church met Tuesday evening at the home of Mis. George Garrett with Mrs. William Glidewell and Mrs. Olive Baughman as assisting hostesses. The Missionary Guild had charge of the program. Mrs. T. G. Yuncker showed films of Hawaii. the devotions, reading the 19th to 23rd verses of the 10th chapter of Hebrews as scriptural reference and talking on faith and assurance. The founding and growth of the Woman’s Foreign Missionary Society was graphically portrayed on a series of charts which were explained by Mrs Frank Donner. The program was presented by Mrs. L. L. Porter. She reviewed two chapters of the Study Book, “Women and Social Problems" and “Women in Industry", and following this the president led a short discussion on these topics. Miss Marian Greenleaf played a piano solo. "Scarf Dance", as the special music of the program.
