the period they spent here, although one couple took up their residence here, for a year or more. All of them spoke in the warmest terms of the very hospitable treatment they received while in Greencastle and some of them expressed a desire to make this city their permanent home.
Antionette Friedman, the county nurse discussed minor accidents anc> ailments, and made suggestions as to what should be done until the doctor arrives. She gave a list of articles which a first aid kit should con-

She said thaf one might create interest in the farm by such simple means as planting birthday trees, naming the farm, or providing picnic grounds including outdoor
fireplaces.
Miss Martin then discussed "Some Things About Grandmother’s Herb Garden.” Herbs were used as household and personal perfumery, in cookery, and as medicaments. She said that the herb garden served as an expression of graciousness and hospitality in grandmother’s day and , that it merits a revival of interest. ’ County officers attending the meeting were: Mrs. Walter Dorsett, chairman; Mrs. Dennis Jones, vicechairman; and Mrs. Lee Terry, sec-
