Judge Edgar A. Rice of the Montgomery Circuit court, was here this forenoon to hear arguments on the motion of the plaintiff's attorneys for a new trial in the suit of Crousore vs. Tzouanakis. The case was tried recently in the Putnam court. Judge Rice being the special judge and the defendant won it, in that trial. The contention of the defeated plaintiff in asking for a new trial is that new evidence has been discovered which could not have been discovered by the exercise of due diligence before the trial.
