Ind., Oct. 24.— (UP* -Cheater L. Gainer, 28, professional boxer of Louisville, was shot when he resisted arrest in Mt. Vernon Saturday night and died here late yesterday in Deaconness hospital. Police Chief Basil Cox sent a fatal bullet into Gainei after the boxerhad knocked him down and beat him with a pair of handcuffs which he
