The largest advance sale of Indian . university football tickets got underway this week, and the ducats will be mailed to early customers this week Ticket Manager L. L. Fisher said that the demand for season books, entitling the buyer to reserved seats j for the Centre. Illinois and Purdu' games, was the largest in Indiana's sport history. There has been little call for single game tickets. Fisher | said, at this time as almost every advance sale customer has requested a ; season book. The largest demand for tickets is the annual Indiana-Purdue ganv which will be played here Nov. 20 Many fans are purchasing season books to be sure of having a ticket for the annual clash for the Old Oaken Bucket. Indiana's home schedule brings ' Centre here Sept. 25 Illinois will , play here Oct. 16 in (the annual Homecoming game, and the Purdu*' game will be held Nov. 20. VIAPI.K ( IIVPKI. VI. K. Indiana, Hospital, at Greencastle, Indiana, at a special meeting of said board to be held in the Commissioners Court Room, in the Court House, at Greencastle. Indiana, until the hour ot 10:00 A. M. Central Standard time, on Thursday, September 30th, 1937. 2 All labor performed and materials furnished in connection with the project shall be in accord with the drawings, plans and specificationtherefor prepared by McGuire anu Shook. Architects, and J. M. Rotz, Kngineering Company, Engineers, respectively and iioth of Indianapolis, Indiana, in whose office’s said drawings, plans an 1 specifications are available in addition to copies in *he office’s of the Superintendent and the State Board of Accounts, and a copy in the office of the Superintendent of said hospital. 3 PROPOSALS SHALL BE: (a) Submitted separately for General Construction. Electrical Installations, Heating and Ventilating and Plumbing or the last two may be submitted as one proposal. (b) Prepared and properly executed on Indiana State Board of Accounts Form No. 96 (accompanied by Questionnaire Form No. 96-A for any proposal of $5000.00 or more) sai<l forms to be provided by the bidders and shall contain the executed non-collusion affidavit as required by statute. (c) Enclosetl in sealed envelopes bearing the title of the work and the name and address of the bidder. (d) Accompanied by certified

checks of bidders bond made payable to the Board of Trustees of the Putnam County, Indiana, Hospital, in a sum not less than five per cent of the total amount proposal including alternates. 4. Certified checks or bidder’s bonds will be held by the Board of Trustees of said Hospital as evidence that the bidders will, if awarded a contract o. contracts, enter into the aanie with the owner or the said ooaul of trustees upon notification .'rum said trustees so to do and wilh.n three days of said notification. Failture to so execute contracts and io furnish bond as hereafter set nut will be cause for forfeiture to the said institution of the amount oi money represented by the certified check oi bidder's bonds as and foi liquidated damage. 5. Bidders to whom awards are nade will be required to submit with .heir executed contracts performance bonds for the full amount of the contract price and in full force and •fleet for twelve months from the late of final payment of the work guaranteeing faithful compliance with all terms and conditions of the contract documents, said bonds to be acceptable to the said board of hospital trustees and executed by sureties as are approved by the United States Treasury. 6 Proposals may be held by the said board of trustees and not subject to withdrawal by bidders for a period jf at least thirty days from the opening of said proposals. 7. All contracts to be executed for this project shall conform, in addition to the other requirements to the provisions of Chapter 319 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Indiana,

Copies of the drawings and specfications may be obtained from the Architects and Engineer’s upon deposit of $15.00 for each set. said deposits to be refunded provided that 'hese documents be returned to the offices of the Architects and Enjineer in good condition within five lays of the hour set for receiving proposals. 0. The bidders are requested to State ind give the time when said heating plant system will be completed and ready to furnish heat for the use of said hospital, as same is desired at the earliest time. The contracts for said project shall contain a provision for withlolding final payment to the contrac•or until such contractor has paid to the sub-contractor or sub-contract-ors, material men for matterial furlished and labor employed in the ■onstruction of said project etc. as is provided in Chapter 258, of the General Assembly of Indiana, Acts of 1933 page 1142. 12.
