Gilbert Reeves of Louisville. Ky., has come to spend his two weeks’ vacation with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. O L Reeves. He is employed by the General Outdoor Advertising company of Louisville. Mrs. Elizabeth Sweet. Poplar street, who suffered painful injuries several days ago when she fell down a flight of stairs, is reported slightly improved at the Putnam county hos-

The locals have won eleven games in twelve starts this season and will be out for another victory tomorrow at the expense of the undefeated Doodlesockers. A large crowd is ex pected to be on hand to see the two well-balanced teams in action. The livestock judging team composed of Clifford Crosby. Truman Hays and James Risk, all of Franklin township, which won honor last year, is broken up by the dropping out of James Risk, who has entered college, thus barring himself from competition. His place on the team will be filled and a new’ team formed, to compete this year. In addition to these entries in the coming fair, there are others in all the classes who have attained high places in their former performances and who will have good chances at the first places, along with those who have w’on in past events. Wayne Sinclair. Cloverdale township, who has had four years’ experience in 4-H club work, will have entries this year in the beef cattle and the colt classes. He won champion- [ ships last year in more than one ' class. His father is Percy Sinclair. James Hurst. Cloverdale, 15 years old, w r as health champion himself, last year and will enter again this year in that competition, and, ’tis said he is as healthy this year as ever. He had entries in other fairs in the poultry class, also.
