Voncastle Although both George Brent and Anita Louise have been under con tract to Warner Bros, studios fot several years, they never met until shortly before they began their co starring assignment in the Cosmopolitan production, "The Go Getter,' which will he shown at the Voncastle Theatre beginning tonight. Their first scene — photographed only a few moments after Director Rushy Berkley introduced them waan intimate love session which had to be shot five times before Berkeley was satisfied.
Chateau With Preston Foster and Jena Muit in the leading roles, a tensely realistic screen drama of the turbulent days of Forty-Nine in the California mining camps, ‘‘The Outc sts of Poker Flat” proved thrilling enterta'nment with its opening tonight at the Chateau Theatre. The two screen favorites are brilliantly cast in the respective roles of a gambler of the old school and teacher who falls in love with him. Their unconventional romance is complicated by the jealousy of Foster’s feminine associate, by the rivalry of a reformer clergyman, and the devotion of the camp to a precocious little ot phan girl whose welfare is an important factor in the destiny of the hero.
