University told the senate Judiciary committee today that President Roosevelt’s court reorganization plan ls "a scheme by which he hopes to control the opinions of the court." Adoption of the supreme court enlargement program. Dodds declared, would be a "long step" toward establishing "Authoritarian government without popular or judical restraint."

LEAVENWORTH, Ind., March 24 presented with a petition signed hy 173 citizens requesting that the town of Leavenworth be moved atop a hill near the present flood-damaged site, the town board has promised co-op-eration with citizen and the Red Cross in effecting the relocation. Eleven citizens opposed the change. The new town site, to be established on a high bluff where a farmer offered land to the citizens, has been platted tentatively hy L. V. Sheridan, Indianapolis, consultant of the state planning board. State road No. 62 will be rerouted to pass through the new site. The Rod Cross will provide home construction funds for those who have exhausted their own resources. The Leavenworth Methodist Episcopal Church has deeded to the Presbyterian Church Us property and the two will become a single congregation in a new church on the bluff. Both church structures in the valley, damaged badly by the January flood,
