rison Forman, American explorer, who recently returned from a trek through Tibet, believes there is a mountain peak higher than the Himalaya’s lofty Mt. Everest. He says he will return to Tibet in March with the sole intention of determining whether the mountain, charted on British war office maps, is actually higher than Everest. “There is substantial evidence that it is,” Forman said. He places the unknown “earth giant" some 1,500 miles northeast of Everest.

FARM MANAGEMENT SCHOOL TO BE HELD FEBRUARY 23 Arrangements were completed Monday night for the annual farm management school, which will be held in the assembly room of the courthouse on Feb. 23. An extension farm management specialist from Purdue university, met with County Agent Guy Harris and members of the Putnam county farm management committee in completing the final details for the extension school. Farmers who are interested in studying their farm businesses in light of changes that are taking place will want to attend, Mr. Harris said. The men leading discussions arc in touch with changes taking place ami are well qualified to speak on farm problems. They have summarized and analyzed nearly 5,000 farm accounts kept by operators on their individual farm businesses dur-

ing the past seven years.
