When several huge gasoline tanks broke loose from tl ir moorings in Cincinnati, sending thousands of gallons of motor fuel swirling across the flood waters, a vexilabl > river of fire ensued, adding new tenors to the harrowing experiences suffered by victim.! in the stricken area.

A raging torrent of the Ohio river spouting high over the flood wall at Portsmouth, swirls madly down this street, a residential section of the illfated city.
