\»;U YEAR’S KESOI.inO.VR FOR HOOSIER MOTORISTS

Father and Brother of Kidnaped Boy

CHATEAU Today and Tuesday

A few suggestions for motorists who have not already made a list of New Year's resolutions were offered today by James D. Adams, chairman of the state highway commission. Motorists using the Indiana state highways can cooperate with the highway commission in its campaign or safe and sane driving by observ- | ng the following "don’ts” Don’t pass a vehicle on a curve. Don’t pass a vehicle going up hill Don’t operate a motor car without proper lights. Don't drive your car with defective brakes. Don’t park on the traveled section of any highway. Don’t try to pass a car when you j haven't sufficient clearance. Don't attempt to drive a car while ; under the influence of liquor. By following these suggested | “don'ts.” by observing all caution and warning signs erected along the highways for your protection: by j keeping your car untler control and 1 by driving sensibly at all times, and | by being considerate of the lives and | safety of other motorists, you will j he doing your part to “put over” the highway commission’s safety program and to reduce the number of people killed and injured daily in motor vehicular accidents. You will be , helping to make 1937 a safer and I saner year for driving.
