MODERNIZE FOR WINTER INDIANAPOLIS. Sept. 2. 1936— "The Modernize for Winter” campaign of the Federal Housing Administration comes to Greencastle through the medium of the banks, building supply dealers and contractors of that city who are offering complete cooperation, according to announcement today by R. Earl Peters. State Director of the Federal Housing Administration in Indiana. This last chance drive for modernization and repair of homes and business blocks, both rural and urban, Is the final opportunity for property owners to make these needed changes under Title I of the National Housing Act, since this section of the Act expires by limitation next April 1. The Central National Bank of Greencastle, Indiana are offering their facilities for the making of this type of modernization loan at low interest rates and on a monthly payment plan to bon owers who seek to j make necessary repairs on property',
particularly on homes.
“The modernization and repair of j homes to make them more comfort-
