Misa Kate Oliver July 15. Sixteen members were present. Miss Avis Knetzer and Miss Bertha Coffin won the prizes in contests given by Mrs. Thelma Wright. During the business meeting plans were made for the annual picnic for members and their families, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Herod, July 29 The hostess served dainty refreshments. Mrs. Grace Wright of Floyd township was hostess to the Fillmore Service club July 15. Six members and one guest responded to roll call with patriotic quotations. A splendid dinner was enjoyed at noon. In the afternoon the usual business meeting was held, followed by a contest given by Mrs. Amma Snodgrass. Mrs. Eva Ogle won the prize. Mrs. Anna Day will entertain the August meeting. Courlland Sinclair of Indianapolis spent Sunday with his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Sinclair. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Stringer and children of Enid, Okla., spent Wednesday with Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Ogle. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Gorham and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Gorham and son spent Sunday in Greencastlc with Mr. and Mrs. Dora Gorham and family. Mrs. Rebecca Shuck, who has been spending the past few weeks here, returned to her home in Indianapolis Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Nauman and children, Mr. and Mrs. Abe Nauman, Mrs. Alpha Duncan and son, Rev. and Mrs. Raymond Deweese and children attended the tabernacle meeting at Belleville Sunday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Day spent last week with his parents, Mr and Mrs. Ora Day. Rev. and Mrs. James Shockley of Indianapolis were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ross. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd McGinnis and son of Indianapolis were weekend guests of Mrs. Saliie McGinnis and son Harrison. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Lisby and daughter and Miss Ruth Wright have returned home from Michigan, where they spent their vacation.
