4-H Club News

The sec n l meeting of the Oreencastle Clippers Club was held at the 1 Home Economies building Wednesday JuJne 10 The meeting was called to order by the president after which came the cluh pledge and song. Roll call was followed by reading of minutes of the previous meeting and then an hour was spent in sewing tea towels These towels are to be finished by the next meeting. Wednesday lime 17 A few games were played and the meeting then adjourned. The Today not Tomorrow 4-11 Club met with their .Junior leader. Margaret Scobee in the Vocational building June II During the work period the first garment was cut out and hasting begun Fifteen members were present for the business meeting A demonstration on seam construction was given by Mary Phyllis and Virginia Newgent. The program committee consisting of Freda Stcegmiller and Charlotte Maynard had planned games for the recreational period. The Winsome Woikers 4-H club of Monroe township met June 10 at Mainbiidge nigh school. The various :roups met with their junior leaders. June ( VH'dr Uouise Hendrieh. Vivian Priest. Rebecca Ecwman and Josenhinc Hendrieh. The club pledge was 1 led by Frances Hendrieh. The program included a song by Betty Brown, a talk by Mary Hendrieh on her experiences at the 4-H junior leader camp and a piano solo by Dorothy Brassier.
