The Centenary "Gentlemen" from Shreveport, La., will form the oppo sition for the DePauw Tigers thii evening in an intersectional college basketball game at the university gym. Bast year the southern aggregation nosed out the Methodists, 20 to 19, and needless to say Tubby Moffett and his netters are determined to avenge this setback tonight.

Terrill Bolander, former Grcencas tie Tiger Cub and ex-DePauw stu dent, was one of the big guns in Bal State’s 35-31 victory over the M,<»1 felt team at Muncie last Saturday night. It's funny isn’t it how most o, the local hardwood performers ap parently leave town to do their college playing. Take McAnally, as an other example. He is regular ccnlei on the Northwestern quintet. —o— Shelbyville, boasting an overtime win from the strong Franklin high school team which had a record oi ten straight until this week, comes b the stronghold of the Tiger Cubs Friday night. Our guess on Coach Crawley’s lineup for this battle h Bee anil Gail, forwards; Cartwright center; Ham or Hutchison anil Cox, guards.
—o—
The Brazil Times says: Bloomington high school team had ten chances from the foul line and made ’em good for 1,000. but lost to Greeneastle, 23-20. "You have to play four quarters " was the cryptic comment of Coach Pete Phillips, after the Panthers put out their stuff only in one quarter. Garl, forward of Greeneastle, shot 16 times and made four goals, .25 percent is good interest on shots these days.
—o—
Here’s the Attica ledger Tribune’s idea of an all-A BCG team; Forwards Garl, Greeneastle; Klauter, Attica; Rental I, Crawfords-
ville.
Centers: Galloway, Attica; Cox, Greeneastle. Guuids WaltM. Attica, Whitman. Brazil; Hartley, Crawfordsville.

Shots from H’yar and Thar in Magic Net, Crawfordsville Journal-Review: Attica, it seems, is to be classed with the best now. A victory in the New Year's Day tourney at Greencastle, over Greeneastle, Brazil and Crawfordsville certainly deserves mention. Greeneastle, beaten in the finals Tuesday night by the Ramblers had only recently defeated the New Castle team, the team that come out on top in a four-team journey nt Anderson with Anderson, Muncie and Dogamiport on New Year’s Day.
Coach Overman built the Attica team this season around Jack Walter, floor guard and only regular left over from last season. Herb Nathan jumps center and then drops hack to guard, while Galloway or Dave moves into the pivot jxist after the tip-off. The forward positions ordinarily are handled by Slaughter and Slimier, whose names you have to read to notiee any difference, although Evans, the boy who stole the show in the final game against Greeneastle with, two last-minute field goals, has Been a lot of action. Biggs is the next ranking utility man.
