First Ward P. T. V Holds Meeting The May meeting of the Mary Emma Jones P. T. A. was held Friday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock. The child-1 ren of the first and second grades gave a very pleasing program of| songs, folk dances and a play entitled “Good Health Train." The scripture lesson was read by Mrs. Walter Gardner followed by prayer by Mrs. Mil-1 ton Klebusch. The guest speaker for the afternoon was Mrs Fred Jeffries of Terre Haute, who is state chairman of Founders day celebration of P. T. A. Her talk wa-s of a very practical nature and included ways of increasing interest and membership; also hints on how to raise money for P.T.A. use and how not to raise it for this purpose. After her talk Mrs. E. R.
