. ▔▔▔▔▔▔▔ SAMMONS TO PRISON (Continued from Page One) Upon entering the prison, his fingerprints and measurements were taken, his head shaved and he was taken to the infirmary to spend two weeks under medical observation. After that, he will be sent to solitary confinement to become “aclimated” ["acclimated"] to prison life. Thence to a job in the prison shops. It was the second time Sammons started a life sentence. The previous one was for murder of a Chicago policeman in 1904. Originally condemned to death for the crime, his sentence was commuted and he was pardoned after 20 years in prison. He is wanted in Illinois, and Maryland for pay roll robberies, in addition to murder, he previously had been convicted of rape and robbery.

Cause does not exist in matter, in '""rial mind, or in physical forms” (p. 262). “In Science, you can have no power opposed to God, and the physical senses must give up their false testimony” (y. 192).
