Miss Mary O’Rear entertained Friday evening at hei home on Olive street with a bridge party and linen shower in honor of Miss Ilene Mundy whose manage to Harold Duncan will take place the last of this month. There were sixteen guests. After four games of bridge, high score was held by Miss Helen Johnson and second high by Miss Imogene Cooper. There was a guest prize. Throughout the evening “tele grams” arrived at intervals with intructions for Mis- Mundy to look in various rooms for packages. The last telegram arrived at the conclusion of the final game and not until then was she permitted to open the gifts. Refreshments were served In the •lining room. The large table was centered with a crystal bowl of baby’s breath and four white tapers tied with yellow tulle. The place for the guest of honor was marked by a miniature bride.
