Dinner was served at noon on the lawn and in the afternoon a business session was held. Albert Ogle was elected president and Doris Bums secretary and treasurer. This was the first reunion of the family and it was decided to have one each year on the fourth Sunday in June. JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind., Aug. 18, (UP) —Ha*»eas corpus proceedings today were expected to be filed on liehalf of Mrs. Pearl Holman, 33, Charlestown, charged with poisoning her boarder-lover, Eugene Kelley, 26. Justice Benson R. Veasey denied bond after an examination in his coutt and bound Mrs. Holman to the circuit court. An argument ensued in the court when Justice Veasey overruled a motion of Mrs. Holman’s attorney to exclude testimony of Deputy Sheriff Calvin Childs who held alleged confessions, unsigned, from the defendant admitting she gave Kelley two poisons, causing his death.
