Under the direction of Miss Dorothy I^wis, the music department of Belle Union high school Thursday evening at 7:30 o’clock, will present the operetta, “Bobby.” The production will be staged in the high school

The production concerns the troubles of Robert Malone, an only son. who has been brought up in the old fashioned way in a rural community. He lacks books, music, leisure. and Anne, with whom he is in love. Bobby does not like the farm and his father and work hands have decided he is good for nothing. Bobby Jose? piatience and, telling his mother of his plans, leaves home with a vow not to return until he ha* won fame

and fortune.

The Great White Way of New York is kind to Bobby and on October 2 we find him a successful young man. He returns home followed by members of a Broadway troupe who wish to do him honor.
