MORRISON, III., (UP)—It was a bug that flew into his bedroom window that William H. Collville, of E'enton, wa- aiming at when he struck his wife in the mouth with his fist, he told Justice of the Peace P. L. Woodson, when arraigned here recently. Collville said the bug had taken refuge in his night clothing, and that he grabbed a flashlight and started searching for the pest. He told the justice he nidn't remember seeing his wife during the struggle. Mrs. Collville told the justice that she was awakened by noise in her husband's room and went to see what the trouble was. As she opened the door to his bedroom, she said, her husband struck her in the mouth. As soon as she cculd regain her footing, Mrs. Collville said, she ran to the home of a neighborCollville admitted he heard his wife screaming in th'ir backyard, but made no investigation as to the cause of the outbreak. He was fined $25 and costs.
