Tonight DePauw engages | Lake Forest, Friday night Goshen college w ill be met, and Saturday afternoon Purdue will be the opponent. The Saturday afternoon debate will be broadcast by WLS at 3 o’clock. Everett Alldredge and Kay Donaldson compose the local team. They will support the negative side of the question, Resolved; That all interallied debts and reparations should be cancelled. The question at issue in the Luke Forest and Goshen debates is, Resolved; That the United States should immediately recognize Soviet Russia. Against Goshen Coach Ross will pit his negative team composed of William Spray, Marlon Yoder, and David Kingman. Against Lake Forest an affirmative team composed of Robert Brunow, Lyman Duncan, and Paul Lyons will represent DePauw. Last night a DePauw coed team debated Purdue at Asbury hall. The local team was made up of Mary Rieth, Sherrod Brown, and Margaret Avery. The debts cancellation question was at Issue, with DePauw supporting the affirmative. The debate was non-decisiou.
