Held 1 enten Service The Woman’s Home Missionary society met at the Methodist Episcopal church Wednesday afternoon for its regular monthly meeting There waa brief business session. The Lenten season is here and spring- time is near at band and naturally one’s thoughs centei on the resurrection of the Lord. God has built all nature with evidence of life after death. What, is spring hut a bringing forth of the dormant seed into unfolding, budding and blossoming beauty and fruitage. With this thought in mind Mrs. Thad Jone', leading the devotions, read Ihe resurrection story as recorded First Corinthians, chapter 15. Mrs. Henry Os trum led the prayer. Miss Marjorie Mclntire sang two appropriate songs. A dramatization, “By the Wayside’’ in charge of Mrs. Northrop and characters impersonating the women at the tomb were Mrs. Pedlow, Mrs. Courtney, Mrs. Chandler, Mrs Biooks and Mrs. DeWeese*. The sorrow that was felt when Christ, the light of the world, was laid in the tomb and the joy that was experienced as Christ revealed himself after the resurrection was most vivid ly portrayed and looking hack 1,900 years, in the light of this truth, the eye of faith still sees that death is the gate of life. ++++++ Woman's Circle Meeting Postponed The all day sewing meeting of the Woman’s Circle of the Presbyterian i church has been postponed.
