We* are told that the Tiger Cults and Athenians will tangle on the Wabash eollege floor tomorrow night. A movable goal is used to make this hardwood court regulation high school size which is good news to* us. Needless to say Coach Henry of Ciafordsville, was an interested spectator at the Oreencastle Brazil game. The W’iley mentor, Coach Kennedy, was also there.

The Crawfordsville Journal says: Perfection of a defense which will stop the basket rushes of Dawson, McAnally, Stone and other members of the (treencastle Miet team Friday night is the goal of Chuck "Henry's Crawfordsville Athenians in practice all this week. • Crawfordsville is good for at least 15 or 20 points against any foe the Athenians meet, Coach Henry believes His main purpose is to build ii|i a detense which will hold the -fining of the opposition, especially <iieein:i-tie, down m futfiro contest-. The local outfit will be weaker t against the Tiger tubs h nday eve-| ning without the services of Pat Malaska, who has failed to return to condition after an illness last week. Brazil is reitainly advantageously located to have rivals. There’s Greencastle, Clay < i'y, Wiley and Garfiidd, and at times Clinton. Each would rather heat, a Brazil team than

Greencastle can put the victory on the hooks, ust as Brazilians recall the time when Del mas Goodin shot three in a row from the center of the floor and then passed one to Yeager for another to make ten points in half a jiffy, up at Greencastle in 192H.

Dear Net Tabs: Who said there wasn’t any spirit in old Putnam county’s basketball ti-ani-. Isioks as thougli everybody was in terested. Even the nhl eagle of Belle Union may fly over some day and say a few words. The wise old owl ma ysleep during the day but he is sure awake at night watching the Fillmore Cardinals play ball. The old owl of Greencastle may he wise but owls that come from Fillmore are still wiser, maybe. Do you recall that defeat which-was handed .Greencastle a few yeaYs back? .Will, ,well, all the owls in Greencastle must have Ixeen asleep, but the Fillmore owls were awake if it was day time. That might happen again, nothing 1 i:- impossible. Now what do you have ,10 say Mr Owl of Greencastle. Wake up, it is darlv again. Wise Old Owl. P. S.
