H •e a:
Displaying speed and aggressiveness that earned them* to the 6 - final game of the state tourney last March, Gieencastle’s Tiger Cubs rallied in the closing, minutes of ‘Tuesday night’s battle with Brazil and defeated the Red Devils 29 to 23 on their
own haidwood court
With about five minutes to play and the (;ount 23 to 17 against them, the local net tossers called time out and went into a huddle. After the consultation, the fireworks skirted and free throws by Hurst and a field goal by Godfrey made it 23-22. Greencastle fans went crazy as the ( uhs* f.frged into the lead, 24 In 23. Then with the big Brazil gym in an uproar (loach .Kdflior*;on’s jprfdeges proceeded to chalk up five more joints crocking <heir old rivals, 29 to 2,3 in a red hot exhilikion of the hardwood court* spoil. The first half was just as exciting with I1S11I1 quintets speeding up’and down the floor, keeping the huge • 1 Vd on their toes from tip- opening whistle. The Cubs slipped into a* 12 to II advantage a? the half ended. During the third quarter, Brazil’s liasketeers worked splendidly and there was a sinking sensation in the hearts of many Greencastle motets. But soon after the final quarter p^ot underway Ihc Tiger Cubs showed they w-ere a smart ball club. They ( took advantage of every opportunity and went earnestly about their busi-
ness of winning.

Martell resized it, too. IT' flung himself nto the breach ironically polite: "If it costs you so much pain to use your foot, 1 regret more than ever my daughter’s sudden faintness.” • But Martell was crossing blades with an antagonist as dexterous as
himself
“You are very kind. But that was ••our reputation in Buenos Aires, of course—before you had so regrettably to leave your flat in the Avenida de Mayo.” And this time it was Martell's turn to start and change color. "By the way," added llsham, “Martin was your servant over there, I think, Dr. Martell?” For a moment Martell seemed to have no answer. Hi- antagonist had drawn blood.
