F’rank Cash, 34 years old, of Clover dale township, and Herschel Cooper, age 30 years old, of Jefferson town ship, were lodged in the county jail Sunday by Sheriff Alva Hry m and deputy Edward Eiteljorge, charged with criminal as.-ault. Roth men pleaded not guilty when arrigned before Judge Janie; P. Hughes in the Putnam circuit court Monday morning and their trial date was set for February 15. Judge Hughes fixed their bonds at $1,000 each. Officers said both, men were married.
