Hirt escaped with slight injuries Sunday afternoon when the automobile driven by Dr. Hirt crashed into the side of a concrete overhead bridge over the Big Four tracks on state road 59 southwest of Carbon Dr. Hirt was returning from a call to north of the city and as he turned south where the state road crosses the tracks on the overhead bridge he was forced to werve suddenly to the right to miss another automobile coming from the opposite direction with the result that he crashed mt.i the concrete rail of tiie bridge and badly damaged the machine. The radiator \#a stoved in, one fender torn off, a headlight smashed and other damage inflicted. The Turner wrecker was called to l>rmg the car in. Brazil Times.
