' LINDBERGS HOME LITTLE FALLS, Minn., May 22 — Col. Charles A. Lindbergh’s home town celebrated today the third an-niver.-ary of his arrival in Parle by taking definite .-teps to preserve hC boyhood home. Three members of the Little Falls Board of Commerce—two of them lifelong friends of the aviator—have been appointed to acquire the river home where the Lindberghs once resided. The heirs of the flier’s father hold the property untenanted. When arrangements can l>o made for the purchase, the bungalow which is located high on a Mississippi river hank two miles from here, will be converted into a well-kept place of historical interest to northern Minnesota tourists. Both Colonel Lindbergh ami his mother have agreed to deed the propi erty to any local organization that | will care for it. Relatives of the ColI end's father by his first marriage have not yet agreed. Officials however, aie taking the matter up with them. Near the Lindbergh home in a thickly wooded grove is the Lindbergh christened “Modpond.” It is a bird bath fashioned in cement by the aviator when he was a school

boy.
