O’Dell, filed a petition in the Putnam Circuit court Wednesday afternoon to be allowed to build a house on a farm in Vincennes, owned by the estate. The hou-e is to Ire constructed at a cost of not more than $1200. Miss Florence Helen McGaughey, teacher of English in the Plymouth, Ind., high school, is s|rending the spring vacation with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles McGaughey, east Anderson street. Miss McGaughey has as her guest while here, Miss Dema Kennedy, also from the Plymouth high school. Mitchell and Mrs. Hen Riley, accompanied by Mrs. W. W. Carson were most entertaining. Mrs. Haughman’s room won the banner for having the best attendance at the meeting.
