William Carmen, of Putnamville, who was struck in the face by a brick at the cement plant Saturday afternoon, was able to leave the county hospital Saturday evening after Xtay pictures were taken of his head. He was not seriously injured. The trustees of the town-hip schools held their regular monthly meeting in the office of John C. Vermillion, county superintendent of schools, Monday morning in the court house. A short business session was also held in the

F’rom April 3 to 6th the North Indiana Conference will be held at D>g-an-port. Dr. Oxnam will give the educational address at the banquet in the evening of the 5th. The DePauw University choir will sing there on that evening, and on Saturday, the 6th, W. H. McLean will give the principal address. Dr. McLean will also give an address on Saturday at Bloomington at the Provincial Convention of Sigma
