The principal matter of business transacted by the city council Monday night was the decision to continue the fight for reduction of electric rates in accordance with the favorable ruling made recently by the Public Service Commission against the Wabash Valley Electric Company. PLEADS NOT GUILTY Rohy Chammers charged in the Ciri cult court with assault and battery I was arraigned Wedne-,lay morning ! before Judge James P. Hughes and i plead not guilty. The March meeting of the Putnam County Consolidated Institute will he held in the high school building Sat. urday, March !).
