“I light a Lucky and
stay slender
Hope Hampton, Famou s St a r of t be Opera, Stage and Screen.
“Luckies have helped me win the laurel crotun of my musical career — singing in opera. Stage presence demands a slim, youthful figure. Rich foods cannot tempt me. I light a Lucky and stay slender. The toasted flavor of a Lucky soothes the craving for goodies. Then, too, a Lucky never irritates my throat. Even, after smoking nutnv, my voice is still clear." Hopl Hampton
The modem common sense way—reach for • Lucky instead of a fattening sweet. Every' one is doing it—men keep healthy and fit, women retain a trim figure, l ucky Strike, the finest tobaccos, skilfully blended, then toasted to develop a flavor which is a delightful alternative for that craving for fattening sweets.
Toasting trees Lucky Strike from impurities. 20,679 physicians recognize this when they tay Luckies are less irritating than other cigarettes. That’s why folks say: "It’s good to smoke Luckies.**
rt. Authorities attribute the enor- ■ • mous increase in Cigarette smok' ing to the improvement in the process of Cigarette manufacture hy the application of heat. It is true that during 1928, Lucky Strike Cigarettes showed a greater increase than all other Cigarettes combined. This surely confirms the public’s confidence in Jhc superiority of Lucky Strike,
