Mrs. Charles Moore of St. Louis, , Mo., has returned to her home after spending some time with her patents Mr. and Mrs. N. C. Alspaugh, who have been confined to their home on ■account of illness. Henry Koessler was returned to tla- County Hospital Friday in the Rector ambulance. Mr. Koessler was taken to his home this week from the hospital where he had been re covering from an operation. Mr. and Mrs. T. H. Bartlett, who have hi-en visiting at the home of their son, Prof. Edward R. Bartlett, have relumed to Madison, Iowa. Woid has been received here that Mrs. Susan Ratliff has entered a hospital in Miami for treatment. Mrs. Ratliff and her daughter, Alberta v.hn have been in Miami for the past sevcial years, formerly lived in

Greencastle.

Mrs. A. II. Phillips, corner Vine and Poplar Sts., sustained a possible fractured hip Thursday evening about !• o'clock when she slipped and fell in the bathroom of her home. It was thought that Mrs. Phillips fell when the rug on which she was standing, slipped under her. She was taken to the County Hospital Friday morning about 1 o’clock, suffering great pain.

W. (. T. H. To Give Dinner This Evening

The Woman’s Christian Temperance Union will hoid a dinner meeting Friday evening at o’clock at the Methodist Church parlors for high school students. The organization is preparing to organize a young people's branch of the Union, and at the dinner this evening, plans will be discussed for the future work in the arrangement of this branch. R. Douglas Brown of New Palestine, who holds ; the office of State President of the Young People’s Branch will be present, and will deliver an address. Prof. Hildebrand, of DePauw University, will also talk-to the prospective members. Each member of the W. C. T. U. will bring as her invited guest one or more high school pupil-.
