whirh rcvprsps thp usual American procedure of waiting until a play has made a hit in the United States before adopting it for the screen. “The Garden of Kdcn,’’ which comes to the Voncastle Theater for a two days’ run commencing Thursday, also offers Miss Griffith in a part imbued with much more comedy than those she usually plays. Corinne has long been known as an emotional actress, hut in her current production she isaid to prove her right stand with leading light comedy interpreters. However in her latest role she hanot deserted the big climaxes of drama which seem to be her heritage, for the story contains highly emotional situations.
