EVERY 86 SECONDS Kvery eighty-six seconds a ton of coal is burned under giant boilers in the power plants that make your li^ht. Twenty-four hours a day, throughout each day of the year, these fires burn on, supplying with steam the generators that send your current out over the miles of wire and cable to your home. But behind the current that responds to your touch there is something bigger than copper and steel, coal and steam. There is the loyalty of hundreds of men, watching the lines, guarding the generators, tending those fires that burn night and day for your comfort and convenience. WABASH VALLEY ELECTRIC COMPANY J.
