Hammond Reunion Sunday. Seventy two members of the Hammond family gathend Sunday at the home of Albert Allee, east of the city for the annual reunion. Sutherlin Reunion. The sixth annual Sutherlin reunion wa held Sunday at the home of John Sutherlin, one mile west of Mt. Meridian. Miss O’Hair Gives Tea. A delightful affair, that has become an annual event in the social and cultural life of Bay View, was the art exhibit and studio tea given Tuesday afternoon between the hours of two and five o’clock by Miss Pearl O’Hair at her little art and craft shop in Bay View, at which more than three hundnsl persons from the various resorts in this region attended. Guests were shown all of the exhibits in her studio where may be seen articles in every branch of decorative art, including works in Italian wax, clay, fabric painting and placque work; also furniture decorating and enamel work on glass and china. The exhibit included not only the art work of Miss O’Hair, but also specimens of the craftsmanship of her large class of Bay View summer school pupils ranging in ages from small chiblren to those of mature years, and one is amazed at the work accomplished by these pupils in a fewshort weeks. In fact one is amazed at everything he sees in Miss O’Hair’s studio, for the most commonplace articles are transformed as hy mngie into works of real art, and one is led. to believe that under Miss O’Hair’s deft fingers a discarded sprinkling pot, or an old shoe might (Continued on page three)

Mi. and Mrs. O. L. Goodlander are moving to Crawfordsville. Mr. Goodlander will continue as manager of the Voncastlo and Granada theaters here and will also have charge of the Vondera and Are Theaters in Crawfordsville, owned hy the Vondorrchmidt Enterprises. The last of the asphalt on the Fillmore road is expected to he laid on Monday. The aspHalt runs from the Big Four tracks to the south end of Fillmore while the rest of the road is gravel with a stone base. The mixer will he moved from Fillmore to to the W. A. Grogan road and when that is finished will be moved to

Koachdale.

Fay Hamilton had a slight accident with his light sedan Sunday evening about ten o’clock on east Washington -treet. The r<iar axle in his car broke for some unknown reason and threw the left rear wheel, causing the rear of thn car to be drug on the ground. The car was brought into Trihby’s Garage
