Birthday Party At Allendale. Through the cordial hospitality of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Allen a delightful neighborhood birthday party was held Monday evening at Allendale Spring.-, one of the most delightful outing resorts around the city. August is the anniversary month of Mrs. Orson Shirley, Mrs. Andrew Sweeney, Mrs. Robert Sweeney, Vernon Shirley, Algan Moore ami Emmett Greene, and these people with th'ir families and friends enjoyed a m< t bountiful supper at fi:10 o’clock to which all did ample justice. Seats were then arranged around a large camp-fire and the remainder of the evening was spent in reminiscing, singing, and story telling. It was decided at this time to make this event annual and officers were elected for the coming year. The party adjourned at a late hour all made happy by the evening sjient togi tiier.
