In her pleasant home the club found ever a gracious welcome and every thoughtful attention for her guests’ comfort and enjoyment. .She endowed her daughters wfth this grueiouaness, so that when we met in her home, it was to teceive beautiful family hospitality, Dne of her most characteristic attributes was her optimism and keen *ense of humor. Naturally happy herself, -he made those whom she met feel better for having been with her. Her jolly laugh will be heard no more, but it still rings in our hearts. As the woman of old, Mrs. Zaring ate not the bread of idleness” but was busy all the day giving her family the most careful and loving attention -he could, not only skillfully preparing food and a comfortable and attractive home, but prevading it all with cheer and the happy and wholesome atmosphere of a true home. She loved flowers and one of her last acts was in preparing her beds for the coming summer. The days found her cheerfully and lovingly looking toward what was best for her family and guiding her daughters in paths of grace and womanliness. Our hearts go out to those she loved best and we offer them our love and sin-
