Grose of Peking, China. Only the immediate members of the families and a few intimate friends witnessed the ceremony. Among those going from he»v were Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Howard, Russell, John and Miss Laura llauck, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Collins and Dr. and Mrs. W. M. Blanchard. Following the ceremony, Mr. and Mrs. Hauck left for a motor trip through the west and northwest. They expect to return to this city by July 15, after which they will he at home to their friends at Airy Knob, the country home of Mr. Hauck.

Frank Ketchum, 31, fourth member of the party, escaped. Arthur Shirk, 38, .Milwaukee, was drowned while fishing in David Lake, Michigan. He fell overboard while

attempting to anchor a boat.

Despondency over ill health following service in the world war was believed to have been responsible for the suicide by drowning of Raymond Doherty, 33, Jeffersonville druggist. His body was found in the Ohio river

Few buildings were left standing in Blair and Headrick, towns of 500 and 3(H) persons respectively, and many farm homes in the 30 mile path of the twister also were demolished.
