Friends in this city are in receipt of announcements of the recent marriage of T. Perry Wesley, to Miss Aline Powers, which took place Saturday afternoon June 2nd at 2:00 o’clock at the First Baptist Church in Owensboro, Ky. The Rev. R. E.

The bride is a member of the Life Certificate Class of 1928 of the Western Teachers’ College of Bowling Green, Ky. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eldred Powers of near'

Mr. Wesley is a former Greencas. tie boy, attended and graduated from the local high school, where he carried honors. He graduated with the class of 1925. During his junior year he was editor-in-chief of his high school paper. He is also a former reporter on the Banner. S. met in regular session Wednesday evening at the temple. The rooms were very tastefully decorated in spring flowers for the beautiful memorial service which was a part of the program for the evening. Mrs. Joe B. Crosby sang two numbers in connection with the memorial service.
