Home From Convention.
Miss Edith Leavitt and Miss Helen ^ Hester returned to their homes iiriill this city Sunday after acting as dele- j == gates I'r in the DePauw University W. A. A. to the national convention, held last week at Carleton College,
Northlield, Minnesota.
The convention is composed of delegates from thirty different colleges, with an incoming and retiring president from each college present. Miss Hester is retiring president and Miss Leavitt incoming head
of the organization.
The deans of women from the different colleges gave the addresses before the assembly of young women, which dealt with student government and other college work. Miss Leavitt and Miss Hester accepted invitations from representatives from the University of Minnesota to visit their campus, where they visited their respective sorority homes. Miss Leavitt is a Delta Zeta, and Miss Hester a member of Kappa Alpha Theta. They also visited in the twin cities, Minneapolis and St.
Paul.
The national convention will he held next year at the University of Oklahoma, and two delegates will he sent from DePauw, as this year.
